I'm a jazz-lovin', Zen-abiding writer of short stories, comedy, and corporate scripts and videos.  It's a weird balance - part hack, part Kerouac, Jack! -  but it allows me to work from home, spend time with my two awesome kids, and be my own boss. 

I live in Atlanta, where I've also been a professional actor for the last fifteen years, though writing is my main passion now.  I'm also a 'comedy coach', helping everyone from accountants to ministers find their inner-funny.

I'm a searcher,  an optimist and a cynic, a sincere soul and a sarcastic satirist.  I'm part Opie Taylor, with a little Hunter S. Thompson thrown in to make things interesting.  So, while Sunday morning might be spent on the meditation cushion or in the church pew, the rope burns might still be visible from Saturday night… :-)

Warren Zevon said, “Enjoy Every Sandwich” - his philosophy on life as he sang his last chorus before cancer took him.  It has become my philosophy as well.  Be here now - it's all we have.
